Hot Hatch Ring collected a large database of hot hatch reviews done by main automotive journalist sites. It enables Hot Hatch Ring to rate hot hatches according to the scores given by journalists. There are two main ratings on Hot Hatch Ring:

Average Review Score - the average score of reviews done by main automotive journalist sites.

 

Hot Hatch Ring Rating - an innovative rating which enables the direct comparison of hot hatches of different price categories and different eras. It shows how well the particular hot hatch would be rated by automotive journalists if they would not have taken price into account. This rating is calculated by sophisticated mathematical algorythm without any subjective intervention.

 

For example: the Average Review Score of '03 Ford SportKa is 4.00 and the Average Review Score of '15 Audi RS3 is 3.96. Though it is obvious that Audi RS3 is a "better" hot hatch. This is when the Hot Hatch Ring Rating comes handy. It shows how much better the Audi RS3 would be rated by journalists if it would cost the same as Ford SportKa.
